Our client is a premium engineering solutions provider specializing in industrial process control instrumentation and systems, valves, analyzers, instrumentation and pressure management equipment of industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, marine offshore, industrial and power sectors.
As part of their growth, we are hiring an Oman experienced valves or instrumentation sales engineer to join their Muscat and Sohar operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for lead generation, converting qualified leads into sales orders in new accounts; leverage existing accounts to cross-sell additional products.
Role Summary
Drive profitable growth through new opportunities, cross and upselling, market penetration and organic growth of custom engineered products and solutions.
Develop sales plans to achieve business and financial goals and drive sales growth through effective pricing strategies and go-to-market strategy.
Lead the preparation of high value tenders.
Sales forecasting and achieving annual sales targets.
Business networking to build strong industry relationships to maximize sales growth.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
3+ years UAE / GCC business development and sales experience in high value, large scale industrial products and services.
Hydraulics specialist for manifold, cartridge, sectional and fluid power devices; safety relief and control valves and regulators, industrial valves, valve actuation, piping systems, process automation control systems, couplings, flow control equipment, filters,
hydraulic schematics, flow and level instrumentation, DCS and PLC systems
UAE / GCC driving license is mandatory.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Marine Engineering
Candidate Profile
Currently living in Oman.
Fluent in English.
Self-starter hunter with a business mindset to offer customer-specific products and services - sales, retrofits, upgrades, process control, automation, safety and reliability.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
