MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To develop front-end solutions in accordance with design specifications and information architecture which integrate with various server-side components and back-end systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE To develop front-end solutions in accordance with design specifications and information architecture which integrate with various server-side components and back-end systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists the user experience team in creating web user interfaces for new and existing features.
- Develops fully functional web pages/micro-sites adhering to best practices and industry coding standards using wireframes/mock-ups as references
- Reviews project's quality assurance cycle to ensure that the final product meets the expectations of the original project requirements, including cross-browser and platform testing
- Ensures that web sites are built to assure accessibility and compliance with common Web standards (W3C), as well as the standards and expectations defined by technical teams
- Maintains best practices in front-end coding for search engine optimisation
- Coordinates with business analysts and UX resources to implement UI solutions inspired and supported by wireframes, visual designs, or other UX artefacts
- Maintains high quality standards and brand consistency
- Optimizes front-end for maximum page speed
- Collaborates with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS Minimum Education
- Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Experience with Javascript, CSS and JQuery
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 5
- Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) ? 7
- Microsoft developer certifications desired
- Experience in building interfaces using modern web standards
- Strong JavaScript Development background and use of JavaScript Libraries and Client-Side frameworks
