MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE

To develop front-end solutions in accordance with design specifications and information architecture which integrate with various server-side components and back-end systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists the user experience team in creating web user interfaces for new and existing features.
• Develops fully functional web pages/micro-sites adhering to best practices and industry coding standards using wireframes/mock-ups as references
• Reviews project\'s quality assurance cycle to ensure that the final product meets the expectations of the original project requirements, including cross-browser and platform testing
• Ensures that web sites are built to assure accessibility and compliance with common Web standards (W3C), as well as the standards and expectations defined by technical teams
• Maintains best practices in front-end coding for search engine optimisation
• Coordinates with business analysts and UX resources to implement UI solutions inspired and supported by wireframes, visual designs, or other UX artefacts
• Maintains high quality standards and brand consistency
• Optimizes front-end for maximum page speed
• Collaborates with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• Experience with Javascript, CSS and JQuery
• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging

Experience Specific Requirements

• Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 5
• Preferred No. of Years (without Relevant Degree) \xe2\x80\x93 7

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements

• Microsoft developer certifications desired
• Experience in building interfaces using modern web standards
• Strong JavaScript Development background and use of JavaScript Libraries and Client-Side frameworks

Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
