Jacobs is looking for a talented Urban Planner to join our Cities and Places team in Dubai, Knowledge of design is acknowledged and valued but this is not an urban design/architecture position. You will be given the opportunity to learn and work on Urban Planning and Policy component for masterplan projects. In addition, you will also meet the following requirements:

• Assist in writing Current Assessment multi-sectoral reports
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop urban planning and design solutions
• Apply sustainable urban planning principles to promote environmentally responsible and resilient urban development
• Prepare client presentations and content
• Good knowledge of data collection and research capabilities and ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data
• Ability to understand land use, context, concept and detailed maps
• Experience in stakeholder coordination and policy development and governance is a plus
• Understanding of planning the MENA region especially in the UAE
• Team work and collaboration within a team/dedication to meet client deadlines
