Key Responsibilities:
Perform sofa upholstery including cutting, stitching, padding, and fabric/foam fitting.
Measure and cut upholstery materials accurately as per design.
Install foam, fabric, leather, and other upholstery materials neatly and professionally.
Repair or replace damaged upholstery, cushions, and padding when required.
Coordinate with carpentry teams during sofa assembly and finishing.
Read and interpret design sketches or upholstery instructions.
Ensure high quality standards and attention to detail in every piece.
Maintain tools, sewing machines, and workshop cleanliness.
Requirements:
4-5 years of proven experience as a sofa upholsterer in UAE or similar role in furniture production.
Strong knowledge of different upholstery materials including fabric, leather, and foam types.
Skilled in cutting, stitching, padding, and finishing.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
