Mediclinic City Hospital | Dubai | United Arab Emirates MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence based nursing care, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the team
• To ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standards
• To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagement
• To manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient care
• To monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvement

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Essential:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing from a recognised/accredited Nursing Institute

Desired:
Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Essential:
At least 3-5 years senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital

Desired: 5-10 years senior nursing experience REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation)
• Presentation Skills
• UAE Labour Law
• Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
• Cost management principles
• Demonstrate Nursing functional competence (Nursing practice)
• Demonstrate the ability to manage meetings effectively
• Quality management and governance standards and best practice
• Risk management principles, systems and best practice
• Skilled in the demonstration and assessment of all relevant clinical procedures
• Stock control principles and management
• UAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirements
• Workforce planning and scheduling
