The web services unit head is responsible for leading and managing the web development and related services. The Manager will be responsible for managing the web services team and provide leadership in the web related technology recommendations/selection and applications architecture design. The team coordination and communication within and across are expected to be carried out in an efficient and professional manner.
\xef\x82\xa7 Manage and lead the web services team.
\xef\x82\xa7 Manage and coordinate the development and support activities of existing systems and deliver plans, projects and services as agreed with suppliers and end users.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ensures integrity and security of organization\'s web operations to safeguard the organization assets and member accounts.
\xef\x82\xa7 Leads the design of structure and navigation for web and multimedia initiatives, including development of usability documentation pertaining to user/functional requirements.
\xef\x82\xa7 Oversees the enterprise portal and content management system support, developments, and upgrades.
\xef\x82\xa7 Responsible for seeking and investigating new ways to serve the internal and external constituencies and for ways to use the Internet and portal to more effectively in order to increase the institution\'s internal efficiency, flow of information and communication systems.
\xef\x82\xa7 Prioritize and dispatch bugs and change requests and track their completion.
\xef\x82\xa7 Contribute to a high-performing, motivated workgroup by applying interpersonal communication and collaboration skills to achieve project goals and realize value.
\xef\x82\xa7 Assist in establishing University web policies and standards.
\xef\x82\xa7 Maintain, respect, and protect the confidentiality of information held within, or transferred across, the University\'s computer and communication resources in any format.
\xef\x82\xa7 Responsible to adhere with all information security policies and procedures of the University.
\xef\x82\xa7 Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualification
\xef\x82\xa7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
\xef\x82\xa7 Minimum of seven years relevant experience in applications development, with at least three years of supervisory experience.

\xef\x82\xa7 Advanced knowledge in web technologies: XML, Java, .NET
\xef\x82\xa7 Full understanding of integration technologies with LDAP and Active Directory.
\xef\x82\xa7 Must have strong interpersonal skills.
\xef\x82\xa7 Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
