An AWS Skills Guild is an AWS Training & Certification service that enables customers to develop new capabilities and capacity for Cloud and Amazon related services and solutions, and accelerate cloud outcomes. It is a comprehensive skills enablement program that applies cloud skilling and cloud adoption techniques to build cloud fluency and establish new ways of working across large Enterprise organisations.

As a Senior Enterprise Transformation Consultant, you will be required to own and drive the business development strategy and sales support function for the AWS Skills Guild team across Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). This will require working with both internal and external teams including Enterprise customers, T&C business development teams, marketing, commercial sales, industry vertical teams, and partners. The focus will be on developing effective go-to-market strategies, helping account teams identify, scope, qualify, and gain customer commitment for AWS Skills Guilds, managing the pipeline, and developing and implementing value-add attach and embed presales strategies that allow for scalability and high-volume growth.

Key job responsibilities
  • Design and implement the AWS Skills Guild go-to-market, prospecting and lead generation strategy for EMEA.
  • Support AWS Commercial Sales Account Teams, T&C Business Development Managers, and other key seller resources in EMEA, identify, scope, qualify, and gain customer commitment.
  • Meet or exceed EMEA AWS Skills Guild sales targets and goals.
  • Analyse industry and Amazon internal data to understand the competitive landscape and identify customer trends as they pertain to cloud fluency and cloud adoption.
  • Develop strong working relationships with both internal and external teams including Enterprise customers; T&C business development teams; marketing; commercial sales; industry vertical teams.
  • Work closely with local and global Skills Guild peers to ensure EMEA AWS Skills Guild sales strategy and activity aligns with the global sales and program enhancement strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing and business development teams to evangelise the AWS Skills Guild in internal and external forums and mediums.

This role can be performed anywhere in EMEA although alignment to AWS offices would be necessary. The successful incumbent will need to have the ability to travel across the EMEA geographic area up to 50% of the time. Remote working will be leveraged when local and international travel restrictions are in place.

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and c-suite advisory experience • Proven ability to lead in an ambiguous environment • Advanced knowledge of cloud services and/or cloud adoption • Language skills: English plus one or more European languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian would be beneficial.
