Job Description
Professionals within this job role act as a moderator for all company accounts, ensuring that they are compliant and that any future risk is identified and managed. Can independently handle UAE VAT compliance. Roles and Responsibilities are:
- Evaluate financial documents for accuracy and compliance with federal regulations
- Verify Prepaid Payments and Reconciliations
- Identify the financial risk of the organization and offer recommendations to reduce risk.
- Identify accounting and financial record-keeping processes that can be improved
- Determine ways to cut costs and improve profitability
- Assess the efficiency and productivity of internal staff and make recommendations for improvement
- Present findings to upper management in the form of reports and presentations
- Compliance and accounting of VAT liabilities relating to the Group\xe2\x80\x99s operations.
- Managing VAT implementation strategies, executing VAT compliance, planning and internal procedures.
- Preparing, validating and submitting all required VAT returns, supporting schedules and any documentation/responses as may be required by the Federal Tax Authority.
- Ensuring compliance of VAT data collection, review, consolidation, preparation and payment of quarterly VAT liability.
- Preparing and submitting to the management monthly reports on the VAT activities of the Group.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
