As a Data Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of data within the organisation. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining data quality processes, performing data analysis, and collaborating with various teams to identify and resolve data quality issues.

• Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures
• Monitor data quality metrics and conduct regular assessments and audits
• Collaborate with data owners, stakeholders, and IT teams for improvement initiatives
• Perform data profiling, analysis, and validation to identify issues
• Utilise data quality tools to assess completeness, validity, and accuracy
• Develop and execute validation scripts or queries to rectify problems
• Work with teams to rectify discrepancies and ensure data standardisation
• Implement data cleansing techniques and document resolutions
• Evaluate processes and propose enhancements to workflows and tools
• Standardise data entry processes and enforce best practices

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Master\'s degree is a plus.
• 5 + years of experience as a data engineer or similar role, with expertise in data pipeline development and data integration.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SQL, and/or Java.
• Proficiency in working with data engineering tools and technologies, such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, SQL-based databases, ETL frameworks, and cloud-based data services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data visualisation tools and platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data challenges.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
