Function
As the Finance & Administration Manager, reporting to the EMEA Finance Director at HQ, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial & administrative activities and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising various tasks to ensure smooth operations in the Dubai office in line with Barco\'s global standards.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for all accounting services including GL accounting, payroll accounting, and preparation of monthly reporting package to headquarters in line with the closing calendar
Take care of the administrative management of the Dubai (expat) staff (payroll, visa\'s etc\xe2\x80\xa6)
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting principles, regulations, and best practices and align on deviations vs. group policies (IFRS) and procedures
Take care of periodic government filings such as VAT returns, Income Tax return, Zakat, and the preparation of annual financial statements
Manage administrative process in the Dubai office linked to facility management, contract management, review of supplier invoicing and timely arrangement of payments
Collaborate with internal departments such as Corporate Finance, Procurement, Legal and many more
Maintain relationships with local banks, authorities, suppliers and others such as external auditors, tax advisors...
Local \'go to\' person and willing to provide guidance and coaching to others
Your profile
Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or audit, preferably in an international context
Proficiency in English and Arabic (both written and verbal) is essential, any other language is an asset
Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards (IRFS), and financial analysis
Familiarity with local financial laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Proficient with MS Office suite, first experience with SAP ERP or other Finance ERP is a plus
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
