TYPHOON CHIEF PILOT

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join BAE Systems as The Chief Typhoon Instructor Saudi Arabia.

Skills and Experience

An ex-military service person with an aircrew qualification (Pilot) commensurate wit the position and aircraft platform.

An ex-military aircrew member with an aircrew instructional qualification (Qualification Flying Instructor Qualified Weapons Instructor) commensurate with the position and aircraft platform

An ex-military aircrew member with flying and instructional experience equivalent to that prescribed in the relevant SOW.

Desirably, BAESSA aircrew with experience in an A4 grade role. Responsibilities and Accountabilities The Chief instructor is required to: Perform a supervisory role to aircrew and RSAF students as prescribed by the relevant job description and/or RSAF Commander direction. Perform mentoring and advisory role within the Flying Wing in support of safe flying operations. Perform an assurance role to ensure that Flying Operations on the Wing are compliant with BAESSA policies and processes in the absence of the LHoF. Perform flying instructional ground duties in accordance with those specified in the relevant SoW. Comply with BAESSA mandated policies and procedures. Perform flying activities safely and make decision (ground and air) that are commensurate with high level of experience demanded of the position. Identify any aviation safety risk in all operations and suggest mitigating actions. Have a working knowledge of Safe Tal incident reporting and be familiar with the flying operations Hazard (Rick) Log in both the Hazard and FOMR modules. Keep subordinate IPs informed of aviation safety issues. Provide flight operations SME advice to BAESSA relevant safety committees. Expatriate Employee Benefits
