Job Description

The Treasury Specialist is responsible for managing the organization's treasury operations, including cash management and bank relationship management. This role will support the Treasury department in optimizing cash flow, monitoring financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Management:

Monitor daily cash positions and forecast cash requirements to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs. Manage cash flow projections and analyze the cash flow cycle to identify varying funding needs.

Banking Relations:

Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions; negotiate terms and conditions as needed. Assist in opening and closing bank accounts and ensure proper documentation and compliance with banking policies.

Payments and Transactions:

Oversee the processing of payments, ensuring timely disbursement of funds and compliance with internal controls. Reconcile bank statements and internal records to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Treasury Reporting:

Prepare regular treasury reports, including cash position reports, liquidity forecasts, and variance analysis. Generate reports for management to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. [1-3] years of experience in treasury, finance, or related fields. Strong understanding of cash management principles, banking operations, and financial markets. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) . Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively within a team. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Understanding Oracle NetSuite is a plus.
