The Opportunity

As the Field Supervisor for Travel Retail, you will champion Puig\'s presence across duty-free outlets, focusing on enhancing the customer experience and driving sales, mainly within Dubai and Qatar airports. You will spend most of your time on the shop floor leading, coaching, driving sales, and engaging the Brand Representative team (BR), ensuring operational excellence, and following the brand\'s standards. You will be based in Dubai, UAE (80% airport, 20% office), and you will be required to travel mostly to Qatar and occasionally to the rest of the GCC airports.

What you\'ll get to do


SELL-OUT/ FIELD MANAGEMENT
  • Drive retail sales while delivering a best-in-class consumer experience. This involves reviewing team sales productivity and performance on a regular basis and identifying opportunities to achieve optimal performance.
  • Deliver retail operational excellence to provide an efficient and effective work environment.
  • Main flow of reporting feedback from shop floor & strong communication between BRs and TRME Office team
  • Constant reporting & follow up of needs on shop floor (BR + consumer experience needs)
  • Drive transactions and sales of the entire team to achieve the store sales targets.
  • Support in implementing and tracking incentive plans for BRs.
  • Monitor the individual performance of each Brand Representative and coach them for better performance.
  • Create daily/weekly action plans to animate the store, motivate the team, and incentivize customers to visit the store.
  • Conduct required performance (One on One) reviews and regular team meetings.
  • Create and promote a positive work environment and foster teamwork.
  • Develop and maintain excellent collaborative relationships with the retail partner management team (where applicable). Leverage this relationship to drive opportunities for the Brand (space, staff, events, stock).

TRAINING
  • Is constantly on the shop floor delivering live coaching to BRs (observe, coach, and react continually improving shopper experience and team capabilities
  • Special focus on improving Consumer Experience and Fragrance Profiling skills for Niche BRs
  • Focus on building confidence in artistry expertise and cross-selling for makeup BRs.
  • Coach prestige BRs on product knowledge, customer service, and selling skills.
  • Track and monitor BR knowledge, skills, and performance, and highlight to the Education Manager where extra focus/improvement is needed.
  • Work closely with Education Manager to develop education plans and focus for each team.
  • Support with planning and executing Classroom and Virtual training.

INSTORE VM
  • Ensure all merchandising standards are always met as per guidelines. Optimize VM with local adaptations.
  • Ensure constant feedback to the Retail Design & VM Manager.
  • Work closely with the Retail Design/VM and Marketing Team for all briefings on upcoming brand activations and in-store animations (this includes creating and tracking concrete action plans to motivate the BRs team and drive traffic to the store)

We\'d love to meet you if you have

  • Regional (ME) experience in a similar field role within the beauty sector, ideally in Fragrance. Experience in Travel Retail is an asset.
  • Experience in field coaching, a natural presenter and storyteller.
  • Excellent communication skills, leadership, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret figures and comment in writing on weekly/monthly reports.
  • Ability to assess customer and staff needs and make recommendations.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner.
  • Ability to work with flexible schedules (with extensive travels in the region)
  • Proficiency in Arabic, Russian, or Chinese is considered an asset, enhancing communication with a diverse consumer and contributing to exceptional consumer experience.
