Transportation & Logistics Coordinator
to manage and streamline our shipping, fleet, and border clearance processes.
Responsibilities
Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Plan routes and manage transport schedules in line with operational requirements.
Communicate with transporters, drivers, and warehouse staff for smooth operations.
Handle shipping and customs documentation, including invoices, permits, and clearance papers.
Track shipments and update internal teams and customers on delivery status.
Resolve transport-related issues such as delays, damages, or penalties.
Maintain accurate records of transport costs and prepare regular performance reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regional/international transport regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (preferred).
2+ years' experience in transportation, logistics, or shipping coordination.
Knowledge of customs clearance and border regulations (UAE/Oman experience a plus).
Familiarity with ERP or logistics management systems (ERPNext is an advantage).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication in English; Arabic/Hindi is a plus.
Ability to multitask and work under time-sensitive conditions.
