Participate in the implementation of the TROC operational delivery and liaison requirements within Event Transport, the Main Operations Centre (MOC) management, and the Host Country Transport & Traffic Coordination Centre (TTCC);
Ensure the implementation of the Event Transport C3 based on agreed principles;
Facilitate daily briefing sessions and consolidate and submit daily reports as required;
Facilitate issue resolution and manages the issue management tool
Liaise with key partner delivery agencies for the interface of systems to enhance communication and functionality for all parties;
Coordination of all new transport requests and change requests for FIFA constituent groups
Manage the Transport Management Module and ensure new transport requests or changes are reflected in the system
Communicate with all transport stakeholders as required.
Any other administration duties that may be required
General office management of the TROC during Tournament time
Develop a TROC staff roster
Work closely with the Transport Manager – Technology to ensure delivery of required technology infrastructure to the TROC
Develop Daily Report forms, Daily Run Sheet templates, Contact Lists
Monitors the TROC communication systems and applications;
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Transport, Project Management, Event Management, Major Sport events or a combination of education and experience relating to position.
Master’s Degree is an additional asset.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years major sporting event planning, delivery and communications work experience, ideally within an operational and/or Transport role - ideally at more than one world class sport mega-event (e.g. World Cup and / or Olympic Games, Regional Football Tournaments, etc.).
Stakeholder Management experience working with public and private sector partners in a collaborative environment and ability to build strong partnerships.
Operations Coordination Centre experience, ideally in a Transport or venue operational event environment within at least one mega project event – understanding C3 and communication ladders and dynamics.
Experience of developing Daily Report forms, Daily Run Sheet templates, Contact Lists and other operational forms and reporting lines into operational use.
Experience working in multi-functional event organisations, dynamic and fast paced environments.
Skills
Knowledge of the importance of and how the functional area interdependencies and communication pathways work at a major event – knowing ‘who needs to know’.
Knowledge of event transport operations involved in moving FIFA Constituents by vehicles, including city and tournament layouts a distinct advantage.
Knowledge of administration and management principles.
Knowledge of business process management.
Ability to prioritise customer needs, authority requirements, and Q22/FIFA Regulations.
