A leading logistics and transportation company that specializes in container shipping and freight services. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Transport Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Transport operations, possess knowledge of UAE Ports & Local Market, be proficient in GPS tracking systems, and have a deep understanding of documentation.
Responsibilities:
Operations
: Coordinate and manage container shipments, ensuring smooth operations from loading to delivery. Collaborate with container line companies to optimize schedules and monitor shipment progress.
UAE Ports & Local Market Knowledge:
Possess a comprehensive understanding of the operations and regulations at UAE Ports, including customs procedures, port facilities, and relevant documentation requirements.
GPS Tracking:
Utilize GPS tracking systems to monitor the real-time location of shipments, identify potential delays, and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
Port Process and Documentation
: Oversee the entire port process, including handling all necessary documentation, customs clearance, and compliance procedures. Ensure all required permits and licenses are obtained for smooth cargo movement.
Coordination and Communication:
Effectively communicate with various teams, including shipping partners, port authorities, trucking companies, and internal departments to coordinate all aspects of the transportation process.
Compliance:
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure all transportation activities adhere to relevant laws and standards.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Transport Coordinator or similar role within the industry.
In-depth knowledge of UAE Ports & Local Market operations documentation.
Proficiency in GPS tracking systems to monitor and manage shipments effectively.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple shipments simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.
Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve transportation-related issues.
Knowledge of relevant software and tools for tracking and managing shipments.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to adapt to changing logistics and transportation requirements.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
