Job Title: Transport Coordinator Location: Abu Dhabi Experience: 2-5 year of experience Education: Bachelor's degree General Summary Ensure proper transport Vehicle Inbound and Out bound data is maintained Ensure proper vehicle procedures and vehicle maintenance and repair as and when due. Inspect vehicles for compliance with maintenance requirements and ensure all vehicles are in good condition and reports of any damage are made by the driver concerned. To keep a track of the 100% vehicle utilization, communicate with the line manager in case vehicle is fully utilized. Ensure the underutilized vehicle is combined on same route to save cost on Fleet. Uploading the POD of the non-fresh in the share folder so that every cross functional department can get the data. Coordinating with customer and 3pl transportation for the loading and offloading of the trucks. Prepare timely reports of vehicle movement, fuel consumption, maintenance, accidents, and other fleet related issues Coordinate with the drivers and ensure the trucks reach customer locations, distribution centers and packhouses within the agreed time limit in order to fulfil all sales and supply demands. Ensure compliance with rules and policies for fleet management Apply for Road permits access online and follow up with all parties to obtain valid Road permits Report any defect, hazard or near miss in the workplace which might endanger food safety, health & safety, and environment and stop work if any hazard posing risk to Food Safety and HSE is identified.
