Job Description
A global advisory firm is looking for a Transaction Risk Broker to join its M&A team in Dubai. This role involves helping clients manage risks during mergers and acquisitions by advising on W&I (warranty and indemnity) insurance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject-matter expert in legal and transaction-related risks, with a focus on M&A, cross-border deals, and corporate finance.
- Responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal and transactional risks associated with complex commercial deals, M&A transactions, insurance placements, and strategic agreements.
- Conduct risk assessments of corporate transactions.
- Liaise with legal counsel, underwriters, and clients to assess insurability of transactional risks.
- Lead the negotiation of insurance policies to meet client needs.
- Build strong relationships in the local M&A market.
- Manage multiple projects and coordinate with advisors to meet deadlines.
- 4+ years of M&A legal experience.
- A degree in law, finance, business, or a related field.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
