Position Summary

The Training and Development Manager must be experienced and passionate to design, implement, and manage training programs for employees at all levels. This role ensures that team members are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills to succeed, from onboarding to leadership development.

Key Responsibilities

Training Program Development

Design and maintain training programs for frontline staff, supervisors, and managers.

Develop training content (manuals, in-store tools) that aligns with brand standards and operational goals.

Onboarding & Orientation

Lead new hire onboarding programs to ensure a strong start and cultural alignment.

Standardize orientation processes across all store locations.

Operational & Compliance Training

Ensure all employees are trained in Basic food safety, health regulations, and internal policies.

Leadership Development

Identify leadership potential and design training pathways for internal advancement.

Support succession planning and performance-based promotions.

Training Evaluation & Feedback

Assess training effectiveness through feedback, testing, and performance metrics.

Adjust and improve programs based on data and employee input.

Visiting outlets to identify lapses and ensure adherence to training is being implemented.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with Operations, HR, and Store Managers to identify training needs.

Foster a learning culture and provide tools and coaching support across the company.

Qualifications

Experience creating both in-person and digital training content.

Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in multi-location restaurant or franchise training.

ServSafe or similar food safety certification.

Bilingual abilities (especially Hindi/Arabic) are a plus.

Background in instructional design or adult learning theory.
