Trainee Engineer Mechanical
Job Description
Meraki Group is excited to offer an opportunity for a Trainee Engineer - Mechanical who is eager to start their career in the mechanical engineering field. This role is designed for recent graduates or those with limited experience who are passionate about learning and contributing to innovative projects within the construction and engineering sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior engineers in the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems.
Participate in site visits and inspections to understand the practical aspects of mechanical installations.
Support the development of technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and design calculations.
Help with the preparation and review of shop drawings and material submittals.
Contribute to troubleshooting and resolving any mechanical issues that arise during construction.
Engage in team meetings and collaborate on various project phases.
Continuously learn about industry standards, tools, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 0-1 year of experience in the mechanical engineering field (internships and co-op experience included). Basic understanding of mechanical systems and engineering principles. Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
