The Trade Marketing Intern is part of Marketing team and reporting to the Trade Marketing Manager - Based in Dubai.
The Trade Marketing intern will have the responsibility of assisting the Trade Marketing Manager on implementing the animations & activations plan guaranteeing the highest quality execution.
The scope : Guerlain Middle East & Indian Ocean, Africa & India in multiple Trade environments.
He/she will collaborate closely with all internal and external stakeholders: regional merchandising team, local merchandiser, marketing & commercial departments, suppliers, and retailers/ agents.
Job responsibilities
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
360 ANIMATIONS
Coordination with commercial and sales team by overseeing the execution of the trade plan across the Indian Ocean, India, Africa, and Nearest
Coordinate with the Merchandising team to ensure that briefs are shared with retailers and agents, keeping them updated on trade developments and production requirements.
Update and follow up of the trade plan calendar and consolidation files on daily basis.
Responsible for the 360 marketing activations for instore events such as masterclasses & on counter events and execution.
Opportunity to develop own projects : Trade collaterals tools for trade and boutique activations
GWP & SAMPLES
Forecast recommendation on animations & GWP samples ; prevision for the launch to come next year to ensure we have all the POSM and merchandising elements for animations in the region.
Responsible for the GWP & samples strategy and follow up on implementation & monthly order & updates with sales/commercial team
ANALYSIS & BUDDGET REPORTING
Reporting of activation in Trade report & budget follow up files, analysis the ROI to ensure the constant performance
Regular monitoring of the luxury, beauty & retail industry highlighting trends and opportunities for Guerlain by doing weekly market visits & Reporting presentation to the full Guerlain team. (Eyes on the field)
Purchase Order creation & budget follow up per market to ensure the respect of budget envelope for the region
Profile
Degree in Marketing / Business Studies or similar
Previous experience in Trade Marketing/Events within luxury retail industry and / or FMCG
Passion for beauty and retail
