Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic

Trade Marketing Executive

to support the implementation of trade marketing initiatives across wholesalers and retailers. The role focuses on enhancing product visibility, strengthening customer relationships, and maximizing sales in alignment with annual marketing plans and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:



Marketing Activities Support:



Assist in analyzing sales performance versus forecasts and recommend actionable trade promotions. Support the preparation of promotional materials (e.g., brochures, leaflets, POSM) and coordinate approvals with suppliers. Liaise with advertising agencies and suppliers for the production and deployment of marketing collateral. Assist in the coordination of events, handling logistics, vendor communications, and promotional setups.

Operational Activities:



Monitor and control spending on Advertising & Promotion (A&P) activities to ensure budget compliance. Coordinate with Finance for supplier debit notes issuance and payment settlements. Conduct regular market visits to key retail accounts to ensure optimal product visibility and POSM deployment. Support liquidation plans for near-expiry and slow-moving stock to minimize losses.

Customer Relationship Management:



Maintain regular communication with key customers to introduce promotions, collect feedback, and strengthen partnerships. Provide frontline support for product-related customer complaints and escalate issues to management and suppliers.

Market Intelligence:



Collect and report on competitor activities, new product launches, pricing changes, and market trends. Provide insights on competitor weaknesses and propose tactical initiatives to strengthen brand positioning.

Training & Support:



Assist in training Sales and Merchandising teams on new product launches, promotions, and activation guidelines in coordination with suppliers.

Reporting:



Compile and submit timely reports on sales, stock levels, marketing activities, and budget status. Document and share key observations from market visits regarding competitive movements.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. 2-3 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, or Marketing roles. Strong command of English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office application
