Job Description

The Track Maintenance Foreman is responsible for the execution of the track maintenance plan, evaluating the needs for each maintenance action and the day-to-day supervision of the Track Maintenance Team. Roles and Responsibility: Plans, coordinates and executes all activities of the Track Maintenance Team, including spot re-railing, spot re-sleepering, cutting and grinding rail and turnout replacement and repair. Supports the Track Maintenance TeamaEUR(TM)s works scheduling and follow-up service. Evaluates the needs for each maintenance activity. Communicates with the Track Maintenance Supervisor and the Infrastructure Planner in regard to set plans and progress made. Carry out PS, PIC and WS duties. Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and Contractors operating in Etihad Rail. Academic Qualifications: School Certificate or equivalent Professional Qualifications: Recognized knowledge of track maintenance Knowledge of track geometry Full driving license Experience: Relevant industry experience Experience in writing reports Other Skills: English as first language or advanced level of written and verbal skill Good communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to motivate, direct employees and critically assess performance of employees Ability to work in a multicultural team Seniority level
