Job Summary:

The Tower Crane Foundation Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing safe, efficient, and compliant designs for tower crane foundations and layouts in line with project and OEM requirements. The role involves coordination with structural, civil, and PMV teams to ensure proper selection, positioning, and stability of tower cranes on site.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and review tower crane foundations (raft or isolated footing) as per OEM and project specifications. Prepare detailed CAD drawings and technical layouts for crane positions, slewing areas, and zoning plans. Evaluate soil test reports and determine bearing capacity for safe foundation design. Conduct structural analysis for different site conditions and load configurations. Coordinate with site teams for crane erection, dismantling, and relocation requirements. Ensure compliance with international standards and local authority regulations. Provide technical support during inspection and certification stages.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred). Minimum 5 years of relevant Gulf experience in tower crane layout and foundation design. Strong knowledge of CAD, STAAD Pro, and structural design software. Familiarity with OEM foundation design manuals and international standards (EN, BS, or AWS). Excellent coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
