We are seeking a reliable and organized Toolkeeper to manage and maintain tools and equipment used in operations. The Toolkeeper will be responsible for inventory control, issuing and receiving tools, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining records to support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an accurate inventory of all tools and equipment.
Issue and receive tools to/from technicians and staff as required.
Inspect tools for damage or wear and coordinate repairs or replacements.
Ensure tools are stored properly and securely.
Maintain records of tool usage, issuance, and returns.
Conduct regular audits and inventory checks.
Coordinate with procurement for tool replenishment.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures.
Assist in organizing the tool room for easy access and efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a technical or industrial environment.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in [insert industry, e.g., automotive, construction, manufacturing].
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Familiarity with inventory management systems is an advantage.
