Job Description

TASK DESCRIPTION: The incumbent will support the KAF at AAJB, Kuwait. Responsible for managing the Tool Control/ IMRL / Calibration Program in accordance with the KAMP, supporting local command procedures and applicable NAVAIR manuals.

TASK REQUIREMENTS:

Coordinates, Plans, Organizes, and Controls all tool room operations. As the Tool Control / IMRL / Calibration Program Coordinator, is directly responsible to the KAF concerning all matters regarding all hand tools, test equipment, and IMRL equipment for both Organizational and I-Level Maintenance. Manages inventories, stores, and distribution of hand tools, test equipment, and IMRL equipment. Manage the tracking and distribution of tools and users in a database system. Retains a master inventory of all KAF F/A-18 tools, test sets, and IMRL gear. Responsible for the cleanliness and functionality of the designated Tool Room. Manages and maintains tool functionality, calibration specifications, and safe condition by performing frequent inspections of tools and equipment for wear, defects, or damage. Coordinates calibration of tools and test equipment. Manages the requisitions of new tools and equipment as required under the KAMP through the KAF Supply system.

MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent working knowledge of tools and their uses. High School Diploma is required. Must be able to use and operate PCs with database and spreadsheet software, accurately input data, and be capable of operating in an automated supply environment. Reports directly to the Warehouse Coordinator. US Government or Contractor Tool Attendant experience is preferred but not required. No security clearance is required.
