The Timekeeper will be responsible for tracking labor hours, monitoring site attendance, verifying overtime, and ensuring accurate time data is submitted for payroll processing. This role plays a vital part in labor cost control and project reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of workers' attendance, work hours, and job assignments on site.
Monitor and verify employee check-in and check-out times on a daily basis.
Coordinate with site supervisors and foremen to confirm manpower deployment and absentee records.
Track and validate overtime, sick leaves, and vacation days in line with company policies.
Prepare and submit daily and weekly time reports to the HR and payroll departments.
Ensure all timekeeping data complies with labor laws, site safety policies, and company procedures.
Assist in preparing workforce reports for management and project teams.
Maintain confidentiality and ensure the security of time and attendance records.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Timekeeper in the construction industry.
Familiarity with construction site operations and workforce structures.
Strong knowledge of timekeeping tools, Excel, and payroll software.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight reporting deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in HR or payroll is a plus.
