Position Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented

Time Keeper

to manage daily attendance, work hours, overtime, and leave records of labourers and site staff across construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate timekeeping, proper documentation, and timely reporting to the HR and Project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Record daily attendance of all labourers and site staff at the construction site. Maintain accurate records of arrival time, break time, and departure time. Monitor and update daily work hours, overtime (OT), leave, absences, and late arrivals. Cross-check and verify headcounts with supervisors and subcontractors. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly timekeeping reports for HR and Accounts. Coordinate with site supervisors regarding workforce allocation and movement. Ensure all timekeeping data is accurately submitted for payroll processing. Report any discrepancies, repeated late comings, or attendance issues immediately. Maintain digital and manual logs as required by company policy. Support HR/Admin with documentation related to attendance disputes or queries. Follow all site safety rules and procedures while working on-site.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Time Keeper (preferably in a construction company). Strong knowledge of attendance systems (manual or digital). Basic computer skills (Excel, attendance software, reporting). Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi/other languages is an advantage. Must be disciplined, punctual, and detail-oriented. Ability to work in a fast-paced site environment and manage multiple sites if required. Should be willing to work extended hours when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in administration is a plus). Previous UAE experience in building construction sites is preferred.
