Job Title: TIG Cladding Operator
Job description:
To perform GTAW Auto weld overlay cladding processes with Fronius Machine, manual weld overlay and closure weld with manual SMAW and GTAW process. To Weld overlay on Oil well equipment parts by consistently meeting or exceeding manufacturing, safety and quality targets.

Hand on Fronius GTAW Machine, able to setting Macro program to perform Auto cladding process on different feature profile such as Seat Pocket, Ring Groove, Figure 8 Profile, ID /OD groove, small bore diameter, cavity base and etc..
To perform pre-weld cleaning of part, to clean part and removal of Antirust. To moving, lifting, flipping part and set up part to welding in multiple location and direction. Follow all safety guideline, compliance to TechnipFMC HSE requirement to perform lifting, cleaning, heating and welding operation.
Understands procedures, work orders, Drawings, set-up sheets and Part Report and follow work instructions to plan the job layout with as few set-ups as possible. Sets-up machine as required using prescribed detail and operating procedures. Inputs labor details into MES System.
Ability to use material handling equipment to move parts and components to and from work area. Promptly reports any operational problems or safety issues with machinery, tools or equipment to Line Leader. Ability to use basic measuring instruments, gauges and measuring techniques.

Reports to: Workshop Supervisor
You are meant for this job if:

Trade certificate / Diploma in relevant or equivalent qualification
At least 3 years hand on experience in Fronius Machine Auto Weld overlay process and able to perform.
Manual SMAW and GTAW welding process.
Valid welding certificate / certified welder with relevant processes
Basic understand of welding symbols. Able to rotate shift on a monthly basis.
Physically fit without any major medical condition.
