: Certified TIG and MIG welder.

Position Overview: As a certified welder for an automobile off-roading fabrication team, you will play a crucial role in the construction, modification, and repair of off-road vehicles and components. Your expertise in welding techniques and metal fabrication will be instrumental in ensuring the durability, strength, and safety of the fabricated parts.

Responsibilities:

1. Welding and Fabrication: Perform various welding techniques, such as

MIG, TIG

, and arc welding, to join metal components and structures according to specifications and industry standards.

2. Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to determine welding requirements and procedures for specific projects.

3. Material Preparation: Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, and shaping metal components using appropriate tools and machinery, ensuring proper fit and alignment.

4. Welding Process Optimization: Determine the appropriate welding methods, equipment, and consumables for specific materials and applications, considering factors such as metal thickness, strength requirements, and aesthetic considerations.

5. Quality Assurance: Inspect welded joints and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and project requirements, making necessary adjustments or repairs as needed.

6. Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment or materials. Adhere to industry regulations and best practices for welding and fabrication.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with the off-roading fabrication team, including engineers, designers, and technicians, to understand project requirements and contribute your expertise in the fabrication process.

8. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment and tools to ensure their proper functioning and longevity.

9. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including welding parameters, materials used, and any necessary certifications or inspection reports.

10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest welding techniques, technologies, and industry trends through self-study, workshops, and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

1. Certification: Possess a valid welding certification from a recognized institution or governing body, demonstrating proficiency in various welding techniques.

2. Experience: Have practical experience in welding and metal fabrication, preferably in the automotive or off-roading industry. Prior experience with off-road vehicle modifications is a plus.

3. Welding Skills: Proficient in MIG, TIG, and arc welding techniques, with a strong understanding of different metals and their welding characteristics.
