Job Description

Stainless Steel, MS, Aluminum and GI TIG welder required for a Fabrication company in Dubai. .

• Knowledge of all kind of fabrication work like, drainage products, civil- architectural products, Kitchen products, Gratings etc
• Set-up and layout jobs using blueprints, diagrams and fixtures following welding procedures to TIG weld in all positions including the use of rotary turntables for manual welding.
• Inspects, maintains and logs preventative maintenance on equipment needed for welding and fabricating.
• Sets up machines according to work instructions to trim, size, form, inspect, and GTAW (TIG weld) material to meet fabrication drawing requirements.
• Drawing review and compliance for final dimensions, weld note callouts, base material and filler material selection.
• Solvent cleaning, trimming, sizing and polishing to prepare weld joints for welding.
• Tack welding, fabrication of shop aids and fixtures to assist fabrication and welding
• Perform welding as per the given WPS
• All position full GTAW welding for all stainless steel welding grades-SS304, SS316/316L, SS2205, SS2207 etc..-SA105, SA106 etc
• Experience in piping/spool fabrication is mandatory- water treatment system manufacturing experience will be preferred-Knowledge in codes and standards-ASME SECVIII Div 1, AWS D1.1 knowledge is mandatory-All weld joints efficiency must be qualify RT test

• Minimum 2 years experience in UAE.
