Textile Engineer

Job Description
1.Support new business development efforts through leading application development projects and customer contact. 2. Lead textile, fibre and film application development and support for Sports & Recreation based on next generation products. 3. Plan manufacturing order releases. 4. Providing supervision of team members. 5. Focusing on understanding the impact of raw materials, processes and other external factors on the durability of final product performance. 6. Linking the chemical, physical and mechanical properties of fibres, textiles, and flexible composites to apparel performance. 7. Partnering with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to identify, develop and utilize textile characterization and aging capabilities. 8. Leveraging forensic analysis tools to understand textile impact on product failure and durability risk. 9. Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or assignments. 10. Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives Shift availability:
