Job Description

Responsible and accountable to manage all Multi-Discipline Design, Engineering & Technical Support from front end design through detailed design.

Understand the requirements of the design quality system and meticulously ensure that these requirements are met and Undertake work in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards and Procedures.

Produce presentable and accurate drawings, including a consistency check. Modification of existing drawings.

Be aware of, and check, the interface between his own discipline and other disciplines at all stages of the design.

Should have PDO approved Testing Engineers or AEP will be considered

Good knowledge on Company Standards, Shell Group DEP's and International Standards.

Full understanding of "non-standard" Vendor documentation and its interface points with Company engineering documents.

Actively train and encourage the development of Omani personnel to fulfil drafts person and designer roles in the engineering team.

Implement Company, and where applicable, Client/Project policies and procedures.

Checking and preparation of design/engineering documentation.

Undertake surveys necessary to develop area of work assigned.

Liaise with other disciplines, departments, project personnel, vendors, etc.

Ensure all design drawings and documents are complete within the allocated hours and in accordance with the program.

Preparation of detailed drawings and documents to the requirements of Engineer.

Ensure all discipline design interfaces are clearly defined.

Responsible for all individual and certain project specific productivity targets, KPIs and attainment thereof.

Responsible for Promoting companys Group Values, Code of Conduct and associated policies

Responsible for participating and providing positive contribution to technical, commercial, planning, safety and quality performance of the organization and in accordance with Client, Contractual, regulatory requirements

Responsible for undertaking any other responsibilities as directed and mutually agreed with the Line Management.

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering

10 years of experience

Candidates must have oil and gas experience
