Job Description

Role: Testing Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Role Purpose:

* Functional Testing professional with 5+ years of experience with proven track record in the field of Software Testing & Quality Assurance in managing the QA for banking solutions implementation. * Experienced in Preparing effort estimation, metrics & reports, dashboards and reporting the status of the changes to test manager / test leads / management. * Highly experienced in Preparing validating RTM & Test Cases, * Hands on experience in Testing of web and mobile applications using various testing techniques * Hands on experience in collaborating with business and technical teams. * Experienced in Requirement Analysis and Impact Assessments. * Technical validation with hands on experience in Putty, SSH Shell, * Should have experience on utilizing Rapid SQL, PL/SQL Developer, SQL developer, SQL server, Citrix, ETL Informatica and Crystal Reports. * Should have experience in using Jira / Any bug tracking tool * Good to have knowledge in functional automation using UFT, Selenium, etc. * Good to have knowledge on Non-functional testing / Performance testing and its tools like Load Runner, JMeter, Etc., * Application and Package deployment capabilities in database and application servers. * Communication Management and soft skills with Business users, vendor & application support team for the test execution and update, discrepancies in package, defect and documentation. * Experienced in version control and monitoring of package deliverables and retrospectives.

Key Accountabilities of the role:

Communication:

* Attend all the team meetings, one to one meeting to have a high level of communication culture. * Timely response to email, tasks assigned and effective follow up with various stakeholders. * Prepare tasks status reports and submit to stakeholders on timely basis.

Documentation / Process Ownership:

* The incumbent is responsible to take ownership, maintain & update documented processes or documentation related to his job function. * In the event where processes or documentation are shared, the incumbent shall be responsible to inform the owner of any document about required changes or improvements.

People & Attendance:

* Co-operate with the team members in a cohesive and professional manner and proactive good attendance habits and maintain the reporting hierarchy in all matters. * The incumbent should adhere to working hours which might require working for extended hours depending on job nature and task assigned.

Information Security:

* Maintain information security related to ADIB, throughout the period of employment. * As soon as possible, report any potential or actual risks or incidents affecting the security of information to the helpdesk. * Maintain Risk Free/control IT environment at ADIB.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

* J2EE Application * MQ Explorer, SOAP UI, RFUtils, EJB 3.0 * Websphere Process Server * Websphere application Server * DB Design with experience in Oracle & MS SQL

Previous experience:

* Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in IBM BPM development activities of which minimum 3-5 years should be in a similar role in Banking / Financial industry.
