For this project we are seeking a Testing and Commissioning Manager as a part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH UAE Branch. In your role, you will be providing support to the DB E&C team on site in UAE and in Oman.

Responsibilities:
Leading all tasks related to testing and commissioning of all railway systems in the project throughout all the Testing & Commissioning and Integration stages in the project
Reviewing and commenting (if necessary) all Testing and Commissioning strategies and programs of various contractors and manufacturers
Observing and monitoring testing activities (Type Testing, Performance Testing, Routine Testing, FAT, SAT, Dynamic Testing, Final Testing and Trial operation) and commenting on it
Monitoring and witnessing Test Procedures and Test Reports that they are in line with the approved strategies, plans and the contractual requirements and proper documentation of these activities with project lifetime
Coordinating and managing the Safety Verification Plans prepared by the various Contractors
Managing the interface to rolling stock manufacturers and ensuring integration between interfaces with infrastructure and different rail systems
Overseeing and supervising the testing activities carried out during trial operation led by Client\xe2\x80\x99s Railway Operator and manage the Failure Review Board with participation of the various contractors
Managing the Failure/Defect Reporting and Corrective Action System implemented by the contractors ensuring failure/defect remedials identified throughout the process
Coordinating activities with contractors and entities involved to assure efficient, safe and orderly installation and commissioning of each part of the work
Reporting to the Project Director and provision of input for regular project reports
Conducting all activities according to ISO 9001
Qualifications:
University degree, preferably a Master\'s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
15 years experience in Railway Projects with minimum of 10 years of design and construction experience in Rail Projects, and work experience in GCC region would be of advantage
Several years of professional experience in senior managerial roles
Candidate should have held the same position for at least one major railway project
Proven experience in management of testing and commissioning procedures for railway systems and infrastructure
Good understanding of European and North American railway standards
Excellent communication skills, Fluent verbal and written English skills are essential to succeed in this role
Analytical thinking, problem-solving and leadership skills
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills, coupled with good customer service orientation skills
Advanced knowledge in MS Office Applications, MS Teams and Share Point Online
Attention to detail, as well as good planning and organizing skills
Commitment to work on the project and deliver to project deadlines
