Position Title: User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Tester Bullion Processing
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced UAT Tester to join our team, specializing in Bullion products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in User Acceptance Testing with hands-on experience in financial products specifically those related to cash management, vault handling for precious metals such as gold, silver, and other bullion. This role requires a thorough understanding of business requirements, end-to-end testing processes, and a keen ability to identify and document issues from a UAT perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications and product documentation for Bullion processing to develop comprehensive UAT test plans and cases.
Execute UAT test cases ensuring thorough coverage of all scenarios, particularly those unique to processing and handling of physical settlement.
Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, application team and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues identified during testing.
Identify, document and track defects using established tools; communicate findings clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Participate in UAT planning meetings, walkthroughs and sign-off processes, providing expert input on Bullion product workflows and user experiences.
Contribute to continuous improvement of UAT processes and testing standards, leveraging industry best practices.
Perform negative testing to validate system behavior under invalid or unexpected conditions, ensuring the application handles errors gracefully and securely.
Conduct regression testing to confirm that new changes or enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality, maintaining overall product quality and stability.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in UAT testing, with at least 2 years working on Bullion, Bank Notes or Cash Management products.
Strong understanding of the Bullion market, physical movement and physical settlement processes.
Proven experience in developing and executing UAT test cases, reporting defects, and ensuring product quality.
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in the precious metals industry is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of end-to-end Bullion, Bank Notes product lifecycle and related financial systems.
FMC application knowledge is an added advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment.
