JOB DESCRIPTION
Key Skills & Qualifications: 13+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on BFSI (core banking & payments). In-depth knowledge of banking operations, transaction processing, and payment systems. Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement test strategies, frameworks, and methodologies for core banking and payment systems. Define test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for banking and payments. Team Management & Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test engineers and QA professionals. Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and quality objectives. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training on testing best practices. Test Execution & Quality Assurance: Oversee end-to-end functional, regression, integration, performance and UAT testing. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. Core Banking & Payment Systems Expertise: Ensure seamless testing of core banking modules such as account management, loans, deposits, and transactions. Validate payment systems including inward/outward payments, card payments, and digital wallets. Work with vendors and third-party providers to integrate and test external banking solutions. Automation & Tools: Implement test automation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts. Utilize automation tools like Selenium, Appium, UFT, Tosca, JMeter, Postman, etc. Ensure compatibility with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Prepare and present test reports, defect analysis, and risk assessments to senior management. Work closely with product owners, business users, and IT teams to align testing with business goals. Ensure smooth UAT execution with business stakeholders.
