Job Summary: Test Engineer - NC / CS - This Test engineer shall be responsible for Inspection and Testing of NC / CS product line cabinets, including Hardware and Software. The Test engineer shall be capable of Inspecting, Testing and confirming the product realization to meet GE designs.



Roles and Responsibilities

• Shall be familiar with MKVIe control solutions for Gas turbines/ Compressor controls, Nexus Oncore PLC system etc. Shall be experienced with using the ADR for MKVIe simulation with excellent Trouble shooting hands on experience.
• Shall be responsible for running multiple projects at the same time.
• Conduct Project material Inspection, cabinet power up, signal & communication tests, PreFAT & FAT\xe2\x80\x99s.
• Supervise test technicians assigned for the job and increase efficiency of the resources.
• Be part of the team to achieve excellence in EHS, customer service, quality, fulfillment, inventory management, and productivity
• Ensure plant policies and QMS procedures are followed as per defined roles & responsibilities
• Support, maintain and achieve plant goals & objectives, KPI\xe2\x80\x99s, QHSE frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechanical or Control systems from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of operations or manufacturing experience)
• At least 4 years of experience as field engineer and/or having experience testing and operations in gas turbine control systems & HMI networks.
• Understanding of general layout and wiring diagrams to perform inspection & verification
• Fluency in English
