Job Summary: Test Engineer - NC / CS - This Test engineer shall be responsible for Inspection and Testing of NC / CS product line cabinets, including Hardware and Software. The Test engineer shall be capable of Inspecting, Testing and confirming the product realization to meet GE designs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Shall be familiar with MKVIe control solutions for Gas turbines/ Compressor controls, Nexus Oncore PLC system etc. Shall be experienced with using the ADR for MKVIe simulation with excellent Trouble shooting hands on experience.
Shall be responsible for running multiple projects at the same time.
Conduct Project material Inspection, cabinet power up, signal & communication tests, PreFAT & FAT\xe2\x80\x99s.
Supervise test technicians assigned for the job and increase efficiency of the resources.
Be part of the team to achieve excellence in EHS, customer service, quality, fulfillment, inventory management, and productivity
Ensure plant policies and QMS procedures are followed as per defined roles & responsibilities
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechanical or Control systems from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED and at least 4 years of operations or manufacturing experience)
At least 4 years of experience as field engineer and/or having experience testing and operations in gas turbine control systems & HMI networks.
Understanding of general layout and wiring diagrams to perform inspection & verification
Fluency in English
