JOB DESCRIPTION:
Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC) is looking for a test automation engineer
with excellent automation development experience to automate testing web & mobile- based applications. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and developing test automation scripts. You should have knowledge of software design and engineering, a good eye for detail, and a natural gift for software troubleshooting. A skilled Software QA Tester should be able to identify even the smallest flaw in software solutions and suggest simple yet effective fixes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Planning, designing, and developing test automation scripts.
- Automation using existing test automation framework and/or participation in creating a framework from scratch.
- Strong automation development experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, and JMeter.
- Different technology stack to automate, front-end, back-end, web services (SOAP and REST), mobile devices, and others.
- Hands-on with test automation in the following languages (one or several): Java/Python/JavaScript
- Responsible for functional, regression, and acceptance testing of mobile applications/web, giving feedback to the development team.
- Testing layout and interface usability, giving feedback to the development.
- Conduct testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines.
- Creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Participate in sprint planning sessions, daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, etc.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science or related field of study.
- At least 3-5 years of previous experience as a test automation engineer.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java/Python/Javascript.
- Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
