Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Tendering Engineer
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive bids and proposals for various engineering and construction projects. This role requires coordination with internal departments, clients, and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely submission of tenders.Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project requirements, specifications, and drawings. Prepare cost estimates, tender documentation, and technical proposals. Coordinate with procurement, design, and planning teams to gather necessary data. Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings as needed. Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers during the tendering process. Identify risks, assumptions, and exclusions in bid documents. Ensure tenders are compliant with legal, technical, and commercial standards. Track and manage deadlines for tender submissions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). 2-5 years of experience in a similar tendering or estimation role. Strong understanding of tendering procedures in the construction or MEP industry. Proficient in MS Office and estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera). Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
