Job Description

The MEP / Wet Utilities Tendering Engineer plays a crucial role in the construction and building industry, particularly in the preparation and submission of tenders for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and wet utilities projects. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and strategic thinking to ensure that bids are competitive and meet the client's requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP systems and wet utilities, along with excellent analytical and communication skills. This role is essential for driving project success and ensuring that the company secures profitable contracts.
Responsibilities: * Prepare and review tender documents for MEP and wet utilities projects.
  • Conduct thorough cost estimation and analysis to ensure competitive bidding.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary technical information.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Attend pre-tender meetings and site visits to gather insights and clarify project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of costs and pricing for future reference.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in tender submissions.
  • Prepare and present tender submissions to management for approval.
  • Monitor and track tender submissions and follow up with clients as necessary.
  • Provide support in negotiations with clients and stakeholders post-tender award.
