Support the Tenders Team in delivering revenue and IBA improvement to the Tender and Contracts (T&C) business in the Gulf States by;
Leading the T&C coordination process with all stakeholders including country and above country colleagues for the assigned markets
Help in improving Tender commitments by Coordinating with Key stakeholders, updating challenges and assisting the Tenders Team in conducting an impact analysis
Key Accountability
Tender Processing and Submission
Responsible for the preparation and submission of all related documentation
Act as the focal point of contact and coordination for all tender processes: Responsible for review, submission, pre and post award follow up
Reviewing all customer tender requests to successfully identify all Pfizer related molecules with KAM support
Preparing SQ\xe2\x80\x99s / PCRs with supported documents and follow their application
Coordinating communications with all stakeholders to ensure timely submission including:
Supply: Product availability
Commercial: Pricing and other comparative analysis
Pricing / Access: Approval and cross country referencing
Regulatory: Documentation
Finance: Approval, Profitability & Documentation
Distributors: Submission requirements like bid bond and samples
Proactively monitoring customer behaviors/trends to maximize opportunities
Collaborate with stakeholders including legal while finalizing the contract
Reporting and data analysis \xe2\x80\x93 Information to support decision making
Proactively provide reports and analysis to the Tenders Lead on tender performance, potential shortcomings and areas of opportunity
Establish robust T&C calendar at market level / Institutions
Anticipate trends in the T&C business and continuously build up market and pricing intelligence
Build a tracking system (standalone or derived from GTCS) for all bids capturing outcome, success ratio, prices, quantities, key terms including competitor information
Report Tender performance by market and BU using an evolution, growth % offered v/s awarded, and external benchmarks available. Coordinate with KAMs
Provide \xe2\x80\x9cTo Market Sales\xe2\x80\x9d estimates to GL tenders lead on a monthly basis with analysis
Institutional mapping of key products with historical price analysis giving the Tender Lead opportunity for optimum price alignment.
Build competitive intelligence based on historical data, coordination with Commercial Leads and KAMS for key products and Tenders.
Keep an updated tracker for all pricing requests, and TAT for price approvals. Closely follow the Tenders process, and present a quarterly analysis to the Tenders Lead
Responsible to coordinate with multiple stakeholders on the outcome of the complete tenders cycle from quotation to award to supply and to planning
Responsible for coordinating with concerned colleagues (GLS/KAM/SMs) on order fulfillment and the monthly shipment plan of Institutional customers every month against the budget, stock position and orders delivery schedule. Follow up action to optimize the stock availability across markets avoiding stock outs / delayed penalty charges
Participate in the monthly planning and sales operations activities to monitor inventory levels and the stock hygiene of Institutions
Support budgeting and forecasting process
Experience and Knowledge
Minimum 3-4 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong commercial focus; working in a matrix environment
At least 2 years experience in Bidding / Tender Management in Gulf Countries
Track record of focus on results with a highcommitment to quality and performance
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute with detailed implementation
Experience and demonstrated results working in multi-national, multi-cultural environments
Experience of working within Gulf a benefit
Strong interpersonal, communication and networking skills
Fluent in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable
Good Knowledge of MS Office, specially Excel and Powerpoint
