About the Office of Institutional Research

The Office of Institutional Research (OIR) at UOWD plays a vital role in advancing the university's mission by delivering high-quality, data-informed insights to support strategic planning, academic excellence, and operational effectiveness. OIR is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and disseminating institutional data to stakeholders across the university, ensuring evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement. The department champions transparency, accountability, and innovation in institutional effectiveness, working closely with academic and administrative units to help shape the future of UOWD.


Role and Responsibilities

The University of Wollongong in Dubai is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to provide administrative support to assist the team with the review and revision of university policies. This is a temporary, project-based role focused on supporting documentation, coordination, and administrative tracking related to the policy review process.


This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent written communication, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities



Assist with formatting, editing, and version control of policy documents Maintain trackers and records of policy updates, reviews, and approvals Coordinate meetings and follow-ups related to the policy review process Liaise with internal stakeholders to collect inputs and support documentation Ensure consistent documentation and file management in accordance with internal standards Provide general administrative assistance to the project team as required

RequirementsBachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Education, or a related field Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, and SharePoint) Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle confidential information with discretion * Previous experience in policy documentation or university administration is an advantage
