Key Responsibilities

• Assist in collecting and documenting telecommunications service requirements based on operational needs
• Support preparation of technical specifications and standards for telecom systems including structured cabling
• Contribute to telecom and network implementation plans in coordination with ITS and cross-functional teams
• Assist in configuring telecom networks to ensure resilience and service continuity in failure scenarios
• Participate in evaluating new technologies to enhance voice and data communications
• Support equipment layout reviews, capacity planning, and setting network parameters
• Assist with integrating data communication across platforms such as LANs, mainframes, and PCs
• Contribute to feasibility studies and provide insights on proposed telecom projects
• Stay updated on international telecom standards and assist in updating internal standards
• Support technical issue resolution across telecom infrastructure

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience in oil and gas or relevant industries
• Certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, CCIE, or CNE preferred
• Strong understanding of telecom systems, data networks, structured cabling, and communication technologies
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate with ITS teams, engineers, and operational stakeholders
• Knowledge of communication platforms, network integration, and fault recovery planning
