Overview

**This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP**

+ Under the general direction of the Telecommunications Projects Manager, the Telecommunications Projects Supervisor is responsible for planning, scheduling, tracking, coordinating and reporting all project requirements. Primarily responsible for managing and assisting with project and report requirements for the Directorate. Oversees the work efforts for Directorate projects and serves as project manager with regards to project plan and documentation deliverables.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

+ Develops and manages Telecom project plans & schedules for all Directorate tasking's and projects.

+ Works in close coordination with Leads, other supervisors, Telecom Project Manager, the Director and appropriate external agencies to create a continuous flow of information regarding ongoing Directorate project activities.

+ Responsible for planning, developing, directing, and coordinating logistical support for multiple, simultaneous, program level activities, and operational areas.

+ Interacts with the military, and other agency officials, both over the telephone and in person, in a professional and tactful manner.

+ Ensures IMD program compliance with safety regulations and collects and analyzes IMD data, such as Assessment Surveys and Inspections, required to support the alignment, maintenance, and execution of activities for Audits.

+ Remains current on latest developments in the quality, safety, fire, and environmental industry through trade and vendor publications, and corporate-sponsored training.

+ Complies with all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and Quality Assurance (QA) requirements and goals. Provides documentation to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.

Qualifications

+ Qualifications:

+ High School degree.

+ Associates or Bachelor's College degree in Management, IT or related field preferred.

+ Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desirable.

+ LSS Black Belt, LSS Green Belt, ITIL or SCRUM Master is highly desirable

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen

+ Must maintain a valid Secret clearance

+ Must be able to obtain a Kuwait Driver's License (KDL)

+ 3-5 years operational experience with at least two years in a similar supervisory role. Must exhibit strong organization and communication skills. Must be familiar with structured project management methodologies and capable of managing concurrent short term and long-term projects. Expected to be able to produce accurate project plans and successfully manage to required time and budget constraints.

+ Skills:

+ Must possess a professional demeanor; work effectively with all levels of employees, including top, middle and other supervisory levels of military and civilian management; customer service training; must have the ability to exercise discretion and good judgment; collaborative work style that will foster cooperation and teamwork; work independently with little or no supervision.; possess high-level organizational and planning skills

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.

+ Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

+ Computer proficiency in Microsoft Projects, Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.

+ Experience in data collection and technical writing.

+ Strong leadership and analytical skill.

+ Ability to read, understand and discuss AutoCAD drawings.

+ Good interpersonal and people management skills

+ Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

+ Duties will involve the conduct of work in the outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions including frequent dust storms, and high temperatures - up to 125 degrees (F) in the summer months. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain areas is required. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Normal work week is 48 hours but must be able to work overtime or shift as required.

+ Work may require heavy lifting up, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolong sitting and working with or in areas where potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents. Must be physically capable of lifting 75 pounds a vertical distance of four feet and carrying this weight a horizontal distance of 25 feet.
