Job Description
Job Summary:
The Telecom / Radio System Technician is responsible for the installation, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of radio communication and transmission systems, ensuring reliable and efficient network performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, operate, and maintain
radio communication systems
, includingTETRA systems
andOTN systems
. Perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance ofVHF and UHF radio systems
. Diagnose and resolve faults in radio transmission and network equipment. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and system diagrams. Coordinate with engineers and technical teams for system upgrades and expansions. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate service and maintenance records.Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma or Technical Certification in
Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field
.Proven experience in Radio Systems, TETRA Systems, and OTN Systems
.Strong knowledge of VHF and UHF radio communications
. Ability to test, troubleshoot, and maintain radio and transmission equipment.Must be able to present valid certification from a recognized radio system provider or authority
. Minimum of3-5 years relevant experience
in telecom or radio system operations.Preferred Skills:
Experience with public safety or mission-critical communication systems. Familiarity with radio frequency (RF) testing tools and equipment. Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Willingness to work on field assignments and in challenging environments.

Pay: Up to QAR4,000.00 per month
