Job Purpose
Assist ICT functions and provide detailed ICT/Telecommunication technical
expertise to project phases, and maintain ICT/Telecoms support environment and resolve day to day issues in operations phase .
Reporting and Relationships
Reports to Start up Lead
Internal
Regular contact with OPCO and Project ICT/Telecom Peers and Team Lead/Section Head.
Regular contact with end users in the for supported ICT/Telecoms infrastructure and applications.
External
Regular contact with industry vendors.

Key Job Accountabilities
1.
Review project documents of ICT and Telecoms including security system and audio-visual
system including installation, testing/commissioning method statements/procedures as per
project specification.
2.
Conduct regular site visits and verify the installation of ICT and Telecoms related services
ensuring meets operations requirement and support the tests/commissioning and
digitalization.
3.
Support to develop/update operating procedures for hardware, networks, and operating
systems.
4.
Carry out non-routine operations that control data processing, peripherals, and communications and networking equipment..
5.
Carry out routine monitoring, logging and reporting tasks under supervision. Report problems and other unforeseen or exceptional events to the Lead. Carry out and observe all associated administrative and clerical procedures.
6.
Use management systems software and appropriate analysis equipment to collect routine statistics, and create reports as required.
7.
Carry out routine configuration/installation and reconfiguration of ICT/Telecommunication system hardware /software and operating system.
8.
Troubleshoot and provide technical expertise during maintenance, repair, upgrade, and configuration/installation.
9.
Responding to instructions or following agreed plans, installs or removes ICT/Telecommunication system hardware and/or softwareas per agreed procedures. And confirm correct operations functionality.
10.
Following agreed procedures, gathers information to enable incident resolution and promptly allocates incidents as appropriate.

Part B: Person Specification - Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
High Diploma degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics, Information Systems or other relevant discipline.
Knowledge and/or Experience
Minimum 5 years of Telecoms experience (ideally within Oil & Gas industry)
Competent knowledge in ICT core skill applications, tools, and techniques.
Conversant with relevant national and international standards.
Demonstrated experience in project management.
Demonstrated experience in support environment.
Technical and Business Skills
Good written and spoken English.
Good interpersonal skills.
Good analytical problem-solving skills.
Specialized technical expertise and broader IT knowledge
