Job summary

MISSION:

Responsible for supervising all aspects of the installation, maintenance, and operation of telecommunications systems.

TASKS:

• Providing leadership and direction to a team of telecommunications technicians, offering guidance, training, and performance assessments to ensure the team\xe2\x80\x99s efficiency and effectiveness;
• Collaborating closely with project managers and engineers to develop telecommunications specifications, installation plans, and maintenance schedules;
• Developing and implementing maintenance strategies, inspection plans, and reliability programs to maximize the performance and longevity of telecommunications systems;
• Conducting regular inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of telecommunications systems to identify issues, recommend corrective actions, and minimize downtime;
• Monitoring the performance of telecommunications equipment, analyze data, and implement predictive maintenance practices to optimize operations;
• Ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations, fostering a safe work environment for the team and project personnel;
• Coordinating with procurement to guarantee the availability of essential telecommunications components, spare parts, tools, and materials;
• Collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to oversee telecommunications servicing, repairs, and upgrades;
• Actively participating in root cause analysis and failure investigations, implementing corrective actions to prevent future telecommunications system failures;
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including equipment manuals, maintenance records, and operating procedures;
• Contributing to the development of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives related to telecommunications systems and maintenance processes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Telecommunications Engineering;
• 10+ years of experience during Commissioning phase of Polyethylene projects.

OTHER DETAILS:

• Job Location: Ruwais, UAE;
• Contract Duration: 1 year;
• Working schedule: 10 hours x 6 days;
• Starting date: December 2023.
