multinational company in the oil and gas industry,

is seeking a

Telecom Engineer

to manage telecom system design across Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design phases. This role involves working on high-profile

projects in Qatar,

ensuring compliance with international standards.

Job Title: Telecom Engineer - Oil & Gas Sector

Location: Doha, Qatar

Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extendable)

Working Days & Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary: QAR 11,000 per month (All-inclusive)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Telecom Engineer

to join a prestigious oil & gas project based in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the design and engineering of telecom systems for both onshore and offshore applications. This is a 6-month extendable contract role with a competitive all-inclusive monthly package.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform design and engineering tasks across

Concept, FEED, and Detailed Design

stages for telecom systems in the

Oil & Gas/Industrial sectors

. Execute standard design activities for a range of telecommunications systems, including:

Information and Communications Technology

(LAN, WLAN, Telephony)

Radio Systems

(VHF, UHF, DMR, Microwave)

Security and Surveillance

(CCTV, Access Control, PIDS)

Public Address and Life Safety Systems

(PAGA, Page Party)

Marine Safety and Communications

Entertainment and Lifestyle Systems

Cabinet Design, OSP and ISP Cabling & Infrastructure

Conduct

site surveys

and gather technical inputs necessary for engineering documentation. Prepare and deliver key telecom engineering documents such as: Telecom Site Survey Reports Design Basis and Technical Specifications Equipment Datasheets and MTOs Block Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, and Layouts Typical Installation Details and Cable Route Plans Cable/Equipment Schedules and Material Requisitions (MR) Liaise directly with clients and attend

internal and external meetings

to ensure alignment with project objectives. Ensure compliance with relevant

international and project-specific telecom standards

.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum

5 years of experience

in Telecom Design and Engineering within the Oil & Gas or Industrial sector in the

Middle East (preferably Qatar)

. Strong background in

onshore/offshore telecom system design

and integration. Proven experience in working with major clients such as

Qatar Energy

and

Qatar Shell GTL

will be an added advantage. Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.

Remuneration:

QAR 11,000 per month

(All-inclusive: includes housing, transport, and allowances). Immediate availability will be a strong advantage.
